Watercolor Jellyfish: Paint and Sip
Who says a paint and sip always has to be in acrylic paint? Watercolor can be just as fun! Jellyfish are the perfect, organic shape to paint– they are literal “blobs.” There are no drawing skills needed to paint a blob, and no templates needed. The secret is water. Two hours is plenty of time to watch a demonstration and try it yourself a few times before making your own. Come to have fun, bring your favorite beverage and snacks, and we’ll have coffee and tea available. This isn’t an intense “class”, although, we like those too. This is a fun paint and sip! If you really want to learn more techniques, take a look at the workshop the Wednesday night before! NOTE: If you attended the workshop on the previous Wednesday night, receive $10 off of this class! (You are not required to attend the workshop to come to this event,) All materials are provided! We use student grade paper to practice, and then will switch to ARCHES professional watercolor paper for your final jellyfish at an 8×10 size. Your painting will turn out even better on professional grade paper. Be sure to sign up in advance! We limit the size of these classes to be sure everyone can see, as watercolor is painted flat on the table. Ages 16+ recommended
