Bees and Flowers: Watercolor Paint and Sip

Whimsical Bumblebees hover over purple flowers in this loosely painted watercolor. This painting class is geared towards anyone who has had some practice with watercolor, which is why we are offering $10 off for anyone who attended the workshop prior to this class on Wednesday the 12th!  The workshop is NOT required to attend this event! We will spend time practicing the techniques before painting our bumblebees.  Watch the water do most of the work and you suddenly have cute, fluffy bees. All materials are provided for this class, but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them!  Don’t forget to bring a favorite beverage and snack if you wish! We will have coffee, tea and cocoa available for you to sip while you paint. Ages 18+ for this class please!  Class size is limited to 6 to give you the best experience possible! Project Description: We will use watercolor tube paints from a variety of brands including but not limited to: Winsor & Newton (Cotman line) & Grumbacher. Our watercolor paper is cold pressed, 140 pound, size 11×14. Watercolor steps are demonstrated first, and a piece of practice paper is available. Most of this painting is done with a #8 round brush. All brushes and materials are provided.
