SUMMARY:NEW! Planter Signboard Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Introducing our newest project– a wooden signboard with planter at the base. Display living or artificial plants all year long! Season-neutral patterns allow you to switch out plants to match the holidays.  A beautiful addition to your front entry. See project description below for more details. Bring your favorite snacks and beverages\, or enjoy a hot coffee\, tea or cocoa on us. Ages 18+ for this workshop please!  (Flowers not included) \n$175 \nProject Description:  Backboard is 4 feet tall and 12 inches wide. Base is 12 inches square.  We first distress each board in the project– which is a fun way to get your aggression out!  We’ll show you our little tricks to make that wood look as old and beat up as you want it to be. You choose a gel stain color and a stencil design from 3 options. We will show you each step along the way\, assisting as needed. The last step is to assemble the boards\, which we do right in our shop.  Ear protection is available during the distressing portion of the project- it gets LOUD! Plan to use a variety of tools\, with some standing and sitting on a stool\, possibly some kneeling during the assembly portion. Not recommended for those with limited range of motion in the shoulders. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance! Ticket sales close at 8PM two nights before. DESCRIPTION:Back by popular request! The Bobber is our summer design from our 4 season collection. Our signboards are double sided\, offering the ability to paint another season on the other side for $15 off. If you are bringing a board from a previous class\, please read instructions below*. For more details about this project\,  continue on to “Project Description .”\nJust like our canvas painting classes\, we encourage you to bring your favorite beverage and snacks. We have coffee and tea available. Ages 18+ please \n$120\nProject Description: This board is 12” x 48”. We prep the board in advance with a background stain. Paint along\, step by step\, using tools and tricks like templates\, paint markers\, lint-free rags and of course\, paintbrushes. These workshops are 4 hours\, and can require some kneeling\, bending\, and both standing and sitting. We take a break in the middle and as needed. \n*If returning with a board from a previous class\, please contact us before purchasing your ticket to receive your discount. We will arrange a time for you to drop off your board at the studio a couple days before so we can prep your board. SUMMARY:Transform Your Stencils: Bluebirds
DESCRIPTION:Transform a simple stencil into a work of art!  Many people know how to use multiple colors and gradations in a stencil\, but you can take it a step further and use it as a painting guide. Sara will show how the design of stencils\, with their positive and negative spaces\, provide the information needed to “fill in the blanks.” With our adorable blue bird stencil on a wooden heart\, and “crust medium” by Paint Couture\, Sara will show you how to make your one of a kind wall art with a raised\, textured finish. You will be able to work at your own level\, creating the look you want.  These wooden hearts have two sides\, one smooth and one with “planks’. We have chosen the smooth side for this project\, and will be offering a class to paint the other side in the near future. So watch website and social media!   Space is limited to only EIGHT\, so don’t wait to sign up! Ages 16+ please for this workshop. \n$65 \nProject description:  We will first paint the wooden heart in acrylic paint\, either like the sample or your own version. Sara will demonstrate the various techniques and crust medium by Paint Couture\, followed by a step by step process as a class.
