SUMMARY:Snowman's Cardinal
DESCRIPTION:This snowman has had better days\, as he helplessly watches this cardinal steal thread from his scarf.  If you never tried painting with a pottery sponge\, you are in for a pleasant surprise! The entire background and body of this snowman is done with a pottery sponge\, resulting in a soft\, fluffy effect. We use transfer paper to apply the outline of the bird\, scarf\, hat and carrot.  You will have the option to put a smile on your snowman instead of the surprised expression\, and you can skip the pulling thread if you wish.  If you do opt for the thread\, we can help you by request– either by painting it for you or offering a brush tip marker in a coordinating color.   To achieve the depth of color in the scarf and bird\, we will be painting with 3 tones of paint\, starting with the darkest tone. Our instructor will guide you\, step by step\, to get the look!  Join us for a fun afternoon and bring home a snowman to add to your collection! We accept all skill levels. No experience necessary for this paint and sip style experience!  Enjoy a hot beverage on us\, or bring your own. Great option for a date night or girls’ night out! SUMMARY:Christmas Truck
DESCRIPTION:The Christmas Truck is back!  This truck has the ability to be painted at your own level! The outline of the truck is provided\, so no drawing skills are required to enjoy this class and leave with a painting you never thought you could do yourself! This is a “paint and sip” style event! We provide coffee\, tea\, cocoa and cider\, or bring your own favorite beverage or snack. Our instructor will guide you step by step\, with the option to keep it simple or add additional details as shown in this sample\, such as the railing on the truck.  We paint with brushes\, sponges and even our own fingers to get the effect. Adding the spattered snow always adds that finishing touch and we joke that it also “hides” a lot of “oopsies!”  Our goal is for our patrons to enjoy an afternoon of fun\, creativity and laughter. How relaxed you are really depends on you! Bring your sense of humor and holiday spirit! This is a great option for an annual team-building event\, a date night\, girls night out\, or a chance to spend an afternoon tapping into your creative side. DESCRIPTION:With our Winter Signboard\, the front porch will be the first place you decorate this year! You can come paint this on a new signboard\, or bring back your spring\, summer\, or fall signboards to paint the other side for a $10 discount. This signboard is prepped in advance with a dark stain\, so returning painters\, bring in your boards early so we can prep them!  Our signboard workshops are 4 hours\, as we like to take our time\, and take a break in the middle as needed. Bring your favorite snacks & beverages\, or enjoy a coffee or tea we have available. This is a beautiful sign to put on your front step this Christmas and keep up all winter! We believe the “Welcome” for our signboards are understood by the viewer as they approach your front door. With art like this\, how could they not feel welcomed? DESCRIPTION:We’re bringing Owl’s Perch for an encore this fall. We start with a black canvas\, giving us opportunity to create interesting feather texture with white paint. This owl is inspired by the Burrowing Owl\, known for its long legs. Your owl can be perched on a pumpkin like ours\, or on something less distinctive like a simple fence post.
