DESCRIPTION:If the father in your life is a fisherman\, here’s an option for you.  Consider painting The Bobber for him or scheduling quality time painting together! The Bobber has been very popular on our large\, wooden boards\, but we also offer it on this 10×20 stretch canvas. Text on the Bobber is completely optional and not necessary to have a complete painting\, but you are welcome to add your name to the Bobber or special order a name added afterwards at an additional cost. This class is designed to be paint and sip style\, with no experience necessary. Bring your own beverage/treats\, or enjoy a coffee or tea on us!  Ages 16+ is recommended for this painting. DESCRIPTION:Introducing the first of our new Holiday Collection signboard! We have planned these to coordinate with our seasonal signboards– (the Bobber\, the Butterfly\, the Snowman\, and the Blackbird.)  Like those\, these are double-sided to add another design to the other side at a future workshop. This is a great workshop to start out the summer with America celebrating 250 years. Display it periodically or all year!   I ( Sara) had so much fun distressing this board! Taking it from a smooth\, unfinished board\, to rough and beaten up was loud\, but fun! For more details\, read on below.  This is a paint and sip style workshop. SUMMARY:Loon in Water-Mixable Oil Paint and Sip
DESCRIPTION:This year\, during the Loon Festival\, we are going to paint a loon in water-mixable oil paint. It doesn’t sound possible\, but Winsor and Newton has a line of oil paint that is able to be thinned with water\, yet offers much of the same qualities as oil paint. This paint is easy to use thinned down to get the soft\, blended look so characteristic of oil paint. For more details\, read project description below.   Ages 18+ for this class please! \n$50 \nProject Description: 12×16  stretched canvas    Water Mixable Oil Paint    We will begin our painting with the loon\, water and upper sky with a black under-painting with acrylic. The rest of the painting is done with thinned water-mixable oil paint over the top. With W.M. Oil\, It is surprisingly easy to add the colors and white dots when the loon is already black!\nBecause we are using a thinned-down technique\, it doesn’t take as long to dry as usual.
