DESCRIPTION:Winter is almost over\, and we haven’t painted our little penguin yet!  “Tiny Tuxedo” was inspired from a children’s painting Sara taught the Kindergartners at Baxter School.  He was so cute\, we needed an adult version.  While this is short notice\, we hope we can convince a few of you to come and paint with us this Saturday! Plan for a fun afternoon of creativity and laughter in a relaxed atmosphere. Finish in time to enjoy the rest of your day in beautiful Crosslake\, or go home\, put up your feet\, and gaze at your adorable polar bear. \nProject description: We will start with a black 12×16 stretch canvas. SUMMARY:Chapel in the Woods
DESCRIPTION:Paint along\, step by step\, with Sara\, her painting entitled\, “Chapel in the Woods.”  Inspired by a little white chapel from her childhood\, this painting is sure to bring up some cozy\, nostalgic vibes! An outline of the chapel and windows is prepared ahead of time\, so no need to worry about drawing skills. We will focus on applying the paint  one layer at a time. Sara implements techniques with sponges and spattering to help you achieve this snowy scene. All levels of painters are welcome. We enjoy hosting a variety of patrons- those with no experience just wanting to have fun\, and those who want to learn and build upon their painting skills.  Regardless your skill level or previous experiences with painting\, our goal is to foster a unique art experience for you in our studio\, whether there’s 4 painters present or 24.  Ages 16+ is recommended for this painting. \nAcrylic   12×16 stretch canvas  $45 \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Register in advance! SUMMARY:Winter Signboard Workshop
DESCRIPTION:With our Winter Signboard\, the front porch will be the first place you decorate this year! You can come paint this on a new signboard\, or bring back your spring\, summer\, or fall signboards to paint the other side for a $10 discount. This signboard is prepped in advance with a dark stain\, so returning painters\, bring in your boards early so we can prep them!  Our signboard workshops are 4 hours\, as we like to take our time\, and take a break in the middle as needed. Bring your favorite snacks & beverages\, or enjoy a coffee or tea we have available. This is a beautiful sign to put on your front step this Christmas and keep up all winter! We believe the “Welcome” for our signboards are understood by the viewer as they approach your front door. With art like this\, how could they not feel welcomed? There’s no need for drawing skills to paint this design\, we provide a template. These workshops are for adults 18+ please!
