SUMMARY:Bluebirds on Wood: Upgrade Your Stencil Skills!
DESCRIPTION:Transform a simple stencil into a work of art! Many people know how to use multiple colors and gradations in a stencil\, but you can take it a step further and use it as a painting guide. Sara will show how the design of stencils\, with their positive and negative spaces\, provide the information needed to “fill in the blanks.” With our adorable blue bird stencil on a wooden heart\, and “crust medium” by Paint Couture\, Sara will show you how to make your one of a kind wall art with a raised\, textured finish. You will be able to work at your own level\, creating the look you want. These wooden hearts have two sides\, one smooth and one with “planks’. We have chosen the smooth side for this project and have another class that paints the other side in a patriotic theme. So watch website and social media for that class to return! Space is limited to only EIGHT\, so don’t wait to sign up! Note the earlier deadline for ticket purchase! Ages 16+ please for this workshop. \n$65 \nProject description: We will first paint the wooden heart in acrylic paint\, either like the sample or your own version. Sara will demonstrate the various techniques and crust medium by Paint Couture\, followed by a step by step process as a class. Additional hanging hardware can be added to the top with rope or ribbon for hanging. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance! Ticket sales close at 8PM two nights before. Last minute inquiries\, call to check on availability. \n*Class minimum: 4 \n*In the event of not reaching the minimum\, class is subject to cancellation. \n*Cancellations by us will result in a credit towards a future class or a refund.

SUMMARY:Snowman's Cardinal
DESCRIPTION:This snowman has had better days\, as he helplessly watches this cardinal steal thread from his scarf.  If you never tried painting with a pottery sponge\, you are in for a pleasant surprise! The entire background and body of this snowman is done with a pottery sponge\, resulting in a soft\, fluffy effect. We use transfer paper to apply the outline of the bird\, scarf\, hat and carrot.  You will have the option to put a smile on your snowman instead of the surprised expression\, and you can skip the pulling thread if you wish.  If you do opt for the thread\, we can help you by request– either by painting it for you or offering a brush tip marker in a coordinating color.   To achieve the depth of color in the scarf and bird\, we will be painting with 3 tones of paint\, starting with the darkest tone. Our instructor will guide you\, step by step\, to get the look!  Join us for a fun afternoon and bring home a snowman to add to your collection! We accept all skill levels. No experience necessary for this paint and sip style experience!  Enjoy a hot beverage on us\, or bring your own. Great option for a date night or girls’ night out! We’ve allotted 3 hours for this class to ensure enough time is given to finish the cardinal. Ages 16+ is recommended. \n$45 \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance!
