SUMMARY:Watercolor Jellyfish: Paint and Sip
DESCRIPTION:Who says a paint and sip always has to be in acrylic paint? Watercolor can be just as fun! Jellyfish are the perfect\, organic shape to paint– they are literal “blobs.”  There are no drawing skills needed to paint a blob\, and no templates needed.   The secret is water.  Two hours is plenty of time to watch a demonstration and try it yourself a few times before making your own. Come to have fun\, bring your favorite beverage and snacks\, and we’ll have coffee and tea available. This isn’t an intense “class”\, although\, we like those too. This is a fun paint and sip!  If you really want to learn more techniques\, take a look at the workshop the Wednesday night before! NOTE:  If you attended the workshop on the previous Wednesday night\, receive $10 off of this class!  (You are not required to attend the workshop to come to this event\,) All materials are provided! We use student grade paper to practice\, and then will switch to ARCHES professional watercolor paper for your final jellyfish at an 8×10 size.  Your painting will turn out even better on professional grade paper. Be sure to sign up in advance!  We limit the size of these classes to be sure everyone can see\, as watercolor is painted flat on the table. SUMMARY:Penguin's Pretty Petals
DESCRIPTION:Calling all kids and teens ages 10+ for “paint and sip” style fun! Paint along with local artist\, Sara Porter\, your own cute penguin in petals! For the “sip” option of this event\, we have cocoa\, tea\, and a keurig on sight\, or bring your own favorite soda and snacks!  For painters under the age of 16\, guardians are not required to stay  AFTER a registration form is filled out and signed\, but you may want to stay nearby\, as this class is only 1- 1/2 hours. Please purchase your ticket in advance! See project description and ticket policy below. \n$35 \nProject Description: Acrylic paint on an 8×10 canvas\, step by step\, from blank canvas to finished art.  Plan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  Acrylic paint does not wash out of clothes once it is dried.
