SUMMARY:Bluebirds on Wood: Upgrade Your Stencil Skills!
DESCRIPTION:Transform a simple stencil into a work of art! Many people know how to use multiple colors and gradations in a stencil\, but you can take it a step further and use it as a painting guide. Sara will show how the design of stencils\, with their positive and negative spaces\, provide the information needed to “fill in the blanks.” With our adorable blue bird stencil on a wooden heart\, and “crust medium” by Paint Couture\, Sara will show you how to make your one of a kind wall art with a raised\, textured finish. You will be able to work at your own level\, creating the look you want. These wooden hearts have two sides\, one smooth and one with “planks’. We have chosen the smooth side for this project and have another class that paints the other side in a patriotic theme. So watch website and social media for that class to return! Space is limited to only EIGHT\, so don’t wait to sign up! Note the earlier deadline for ticket purchase! Ages 16+ please for this workshop. \n$65 \nProject description: We will first paint the wooden heart in acrylic paint\, either like the sample or your own version. Sara will demonstrate the various techniques and crust medium by Paint Couture\, followed by a step by step process as a class.
