SUMMARY:Halloween Signboard
DESCRIPTION:Our new Fall Holiday Signboard is HERE! We went with a tad of spooky for October\, but not TOO much\, so you can enjoy your board through November. We are designing this new holiday signboard collection to coordinate with our seasonal signboards. While the seasonal signboards are 18″ x 4 ft\, these boards are 12″ x 3 feet. See project description for more details on the process! This workshop is 3 1/2 – 4 hours and paint and sip style. Enjoy a hot coffee\, cocoa\, or cider on us\, or bring your own wine or favorite beverage. Snacks and treats are always welcome! Ages 18+ for this workshop please! \n$80 \nProject Description: We first distress our boards with hammers and tools\, (earplugs are available) before staining the wood with a dark brown and black.   The outline of the pumpkins will be provided\, as well as a the main branches of the tree as an optional aid.  We find it easier to use a paint marker for twirly vines and skinny branches. The moon is filled in with a sponge\, so we can get the highlights and shadowed areas of the moon. As usual\, we go step by step and offer assistance as needed. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance! Ticket sales close at 8PM TWO NIGHTS before. Last minute inquiries\, call to check on availability. \n*Class minimum: 4 \n*In the event of not reaching the minimum\, class is subject to cancellation. \n*Cancellations by us will result in a credit towards a future class or a refund.

SUMMARY:250 Years of Liberty: Commemorative Wall Hanging
DESCRIPTION:We are celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary with a wooden wall hanging event. With various star stencils\, paint colors\, knob selections\, there’s room for creativity while following along\, step by step. Check out that gold leaf! This is a “paint and sip” style workshop\, feel free to bring your own beverages (including wine) and snacks! We will provide coffee and tea. Great date night option or a girls night out! We have limited space for this event\, so don’t wait to get your ticket! Ages 18+ please for this event. \n$60 \nProject Description:  One wooden heart with vertical panels on one side\, smooth on the other. We are using the paneled side\, but can tape off the back if you want to paint another design on the back for another use! We first distress the board with stain\, and apply the colors with glaze and/or thinned down acrylic paint. After stenciling the stars\, numbers and words\, we use a gold leaf application wherever it’s desired– a sparkly mess\, but lots of fun!  We have various knobs in acrylic or metal for you to choose from. You can add the the knob and hanging hardware yourself\, or we can do it for you. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance! Ticket sales close at 8PM 2 NIGHTS before. Last minute inquiries\, call to check on availability. \n*Class minimum: 4 \n*In the event of not reaching the minimum\, class is subject to cancellation. \n*Cancellations by us will result in a credit towards a future class or a refund. \n

SUMMARY:New! Holiday Signboard: Patriotic
DESCRIPTION:Introducing the first of our new Holiday Collection signboard! We have planned these to coordinate with our seasonal signboards– (the Bobber\, the Butterfly\, the Snowman\, and the Blackbird.)  Like those\, these are double-sided to add another design to the other side at a future workshop. This is a great workshop to start out the summer with America celebrating 250 years. Display it periodically or all year!   I ( Sara) had so much fun distressing this board! Taking it from a smooth\, unfinished board\, to rough and beaten up was loud\, but fun! For more details\, read on below.  This is a paint and sip style workshop. Bring your own favorite beverages and snacks. Coffee and tea are available on us. Ages 18+ for this workshop please!  The price of these new holiday signboards will vary\, depending on the design and how much prep and time they take. \n$60 \nProject Description:  We begin with an unfinished board\, 1″ x 12″ x 3′     Using various tools\, including hammers\, we will distress the board on the edges and surface\, roughing it up to look old.  After we stain the board to our liking\, we will be using acrylic paint and nailing the star in place. Guilding wax is available in various metallics to add to your star if you like.  Ear plugs for noise protection and safety glasses will be available while we distress the boards.

SUMMARY:Watercolor Ornaments
DESCRIPTION:Here’s a fun way to try out watercolor paint! Four ornaments\, with the Christmas message of your choosing.  Watercolor is unique\, in that the water can do most of the work. While this is not a difficult class\, we allow for 2 1/2 hours to ensure we have enough time and don’t feel rushed.  (It’s always good to have a little practice painting before we begin our project)  So come on over and fall in love with watercolor painting! We always have a good time in our studio!   Bring a beverage and snack or enjoy a hot beverage on us.
