DESCRIPTION:Introducing the first of our new Holiday Collection signboard! We have planned these to coordinate with our seasonal signboards– (the Bobber\, the Butterfly\, the Snowman\, and the Blackbird.)  Like those\, these are double-sided to add another design to the other side at a future workshop. This is a great workshop to start out the summer with America celebrating 250 years. Display it periodically or all year!   I ( Sara) had so much fun distressing this board! Taking it from a smooth\, unfinished board\, to rough and beaten up was loud\, but fun! For more details\, read on below.  This is a paint and sip style workshop. Bring your own favorite beverages and snacks. Coffee and tea are available on us. Ages 18+ for this workshop please!  The price of these new holiday signboards will vary\, depending on the design and how much prep and time they take. \n$60 \nProject Description:  We begin with an unfinished board\, 1″ x 12″ x 3′     Using various tools\, including hammers\, we will distress the board on the edges and surface\, roughing it up to look old.  After we stain the board to our liking\, we will be using acrylic paint and nailing the star in place. DESCRIPTION:If the father in your life is a fisherman\, here’s an option for you.  Consider painting The Bobber for him or scheduling quality time painting together! The Bobber has been very popular on our large\, wooden boards\, but we also offer it on this 10×20 stretch canvas. Text on the Bobber is completely optional and not necessary to have a complete painting\, but you are welcome to add your name to the Bobber or special order a name added afterwards at an additional cost. This class is designed to be paint and sip style\, with no experience necessary. Bring your own beverage/treats\, or enjoy a coffee or tea on us!  Ages 16+ is recommended for this painting. DESCRIPTION:Inspired by a little white chapel from Sara’s childhood\, this painting is sure to bring up some cozy\, nostalgic vibes! An outline of the chapel and windows is prepared ahead of time\, so drawing skills are not required. This is a paint and sip style event. We provide coffee\, tea\, cocoa and cider\, or bring your own beverage and snacks. Sara implements techniques with sponges and spattering to help you achieve this snowy scene. We even paint with our fingers to get the desired effects of a glowing light in the windows. DESCRIPTION:The Christmas Truck is back!  This truck has the ability to be painted at your own level! The outline of the truck is provided\, so no drawing skills are required to enjoy this class and leave with a painting you never thought you could do yourself! This is a “paint and sip” style event! We provide coffee\, tea\, cocoa and cider\, or bring your own favorite beverage or snack. Our instructor will guide you step by step\, with the option to keep it simple or add additional details as shown in this sample\, such as the railing on the truck.  We paint with brushes\, sponges and even our own fingers to get the effect. Adding the spattered snow always adds that finishing touch and we joke that it also “hides” a lot of “oopsies!”  Our goal is for our patrons to enjoy an afternoon of fun\, creativity and laughter. How relaxed you are really depends on you! Bring your sense of humor and holiday spirit! This is a great option for an annual team-building event\, a date night\, girls night out\, or a chance to spend an afternoon tapping into your creative side. DESCRIPTION:Here’s a fun way to try out watercolor paint! Four ornaments\, with the Christmas message of your choosing.  Watercolor is unique\, in that the water can do most of the work. Templates are ALWAYS used for circles… I mean… who can draw a perfect circle? Not this artist! The script writing on the ornaments can be transferred with transfer paper and then drawn over with metallic marker\, or free-hand it–it’s your choice!  Our instructor\, Sara\, will help you every step of the way. While this is not a difficult class\, we allow for 2 1/2 hours to ensure we have enough time and don’t feel rushed.  (It’s always good to have a little practice painting before we begin our project)  So come on over and fall in love with watercolor painting!
