DESCRIPTION:*New date for our Highland Cow at UpNorth Social! Now\, unless we get one of those freak storms in March\, we hope that third time’s a charm! A fitting sentiment for the month of March\, we think! \nJoin us at UpNorth Social Tasting and Grazing Room in Crosslake for this special paint and sip of “Cozy Highlander.”  Enjoy the vibe and sip some wine while painting along\, step by step.  Instructor\, Sara Porter\, will have your canvas prepped with an outline of the muzzle and scarf\, so sign-up in advance to ensure we have a canvas prepped and ready for you.  All materials are provided\, including aprons\, just as if you were coming to paint in our studio at Kicks. “Cozy Highlander” is a beginner level painting\, meaning anyone can join us; no experience necessary. SUMMARY:Make a Yeti: A Winterfest Kids' Make n' Take
DESCRIPTION:Need a moment to warm up during Winterfest? Bring your kids over to our studio\, (between The Yellow House and Goodwill)\, between 12 & 3pm for a fun and easy make n’ take Yeti! Our Yeti is holding a heart\, perhaps to give to his valentine.  Our art instructor\, Sara\, will be there to provide assistance and show the kids how to rub white chalk over crumpled paper for an interesting texture effect. Once they have created their furry texture\, children will tear their paper along guidelines to create the shapes of their yeti. Pairs of teeth and horns cut out of white paper give this guy his “monster vibe.”  But this monster is not vicious\, he has lots of love to give! Various valentine paper will be available to personalize their yeti’s heart\, along with some heart punches to add more love to their picture. Those who like to draw can use white\, pink\, purple and blue chalk to add a wintery background for their yeti to live in.  $5 per project. Kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Availability is limited to space and materials. 12-3pm on Saturday the 7th. \nNo pre-registration required \nNo Reservations
