Join us for an afternoon of creativity\, relaxation and inspiration!  Take a breather just for you as we dig through beautiful paper ephemera and sip a hot beverage. Enjoy a hot coffee\, cocoa or tea on us\, or bring your own favorite beverage/wine and treats. We will take a short break mid-project\, where you can walk over to the Yellow House for a specialty drink or ice cream. Ages 18+ please. *Note the earlier deadline below.* \nProject Description:   This project is made on a 12×12 canvas board using various paper ephemera and acrylic paint. A template of the chick silhouette is provided. Follow along\, step by step\, while choosing your own paper and colors to create the look you want. Painting products such as guilding wax will be introduced and materials such as raffia\, ribbon and vintage buttons will be available. DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again! As we welcome the signs of spring\, create your own front entry art to welcome visitors. Our seasonal sign boards are designed to be complete without words needed\, and they are double sided for those who want to return to paint another season on the other side. Say “Welcome” with this spring design of daisies\, tulips and a monarch butterfly. A pre-outline of the butterfly makes this workshop a success for everyone—No drawing skills needed!   Boards are prepped in advance with the background stain and outline. With a step-by-step process\, one-on-one assistance\, you can do it!\nThose bringing in their winter or summer boards\, please drop off your sign and pay 2 days in advance so we can prep your board\, and remember\, we take $10 off your price. First timers\, please register online before the deadline so we can be sure to have a board prepped for you!  This is a 4 hour workshop and the first time we are offering it during the evening. DESCRIPTION:We are offering a selection of vintage style paper and old piano music to begin your project with a background of your choice. Follow along with our instructor to apply your background onto a 12×12 canvas board and we’ll help you distress it to your liking. This example was done with a chick outline\, but options such as a butterfly or a bunny will be available. Paint is applied with minimal detail to create a distressed\, silhouette style. We will show you how to use guilding wax by Paint Couture to apply metallic accents. A bit of raffia anchors the image. Frame is not included.\nJoin us for an evening of creativity and fun!
