SUMMARY:NEW! Planter Signboard Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Introducing our newest project– a wooden signboard with planter at the base. Display living or artificial plants all year long! Season-neutral patterns allow you to switch out plants to match the holidays.  A beautiful addition to your front entry. See project description below for more details. Bring your favorite snacks and beverages\, or enjoy a hot coffee\, tea or cocoa on us. Ages 18+ for this workshop please!  (Flowers not included) \n$175 \nProject Description:  Backboard is 4 feet tall and 12 inches wide. Base is 12 inches square.  We first distress each board in the project– which is a fun way to get your aggression out!  We’ll show you our little tricks to make that wood look as old and beat up as you want it to be. You choose a gel stain color and a stencil design from 3 options. We will show you each step along the way\, assisting as needed. The last step is to assemble the boards\, which we do right in our shop.  Ear protection is available during the distressing portion of the project- it gets LOUD! Plan to use a variety of tools\, with some standing and sitting on a stool\, possibly some kneeling during the assembly portion. Not recommended for those with limited range of motion in the shoulders. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance! Ticket sales close at 8PM two nights before. SUMMARY:New! Holiday Signboard: Patriotic
DESCRIPTION:Introducing the first of our new Holiday Collection signboard! We have planned these to coordinate with our seasonal signboards– (the Bobber\, the Butterfly\, the Snowman\, and the Blackbird.)  Like those\, these are double-sided to add another design to the other side at a future workshop. This is a great workshop to start out the summer with America celebrating 250 years. Display it periodically or all year!   I ( Sara) had so much fun distressing this board! Taking it from a smooth\, unfinished board\, to rough and beaten up was loud\, but fun! For more details\, read on below.  This is a paint and sip style workshop. Bring your own favorite beverages and snacks. Coffee and tea are available on us. Ages 18+ for this workshop please!  The price of these new holiday signboards will vary\, depending on the design and how much prep and time they take. \n$60 \nProject Description:  We begin with an unfinished board\, 1″ x 12″ x 3′     Using various tools\, including hammers\, we will distress the board on the edges and surface\, roughing it up to look old.  After we stain the board to our liking\, we will be using acrylic paint and nailing the star in place. Guilding wax is available in various metallics to add to your star if you like.  Ear plugs for noise protection and safety glasses will be available while we distress the boards. \nTicket Policy: \n*No refunds \n*Sign up in advance!
